You can buy the magnetic card “Viva Viagem” where you can charge as many trips as you like.

  • Price : € 0,50 for the magnetic card plus the price of the formula you choose.

80 lines make up the Lisbon bus network. The buses of the company Carris occupy a route of 670 kilometers of which 65 kilometers are reserved bus lanes. In Lisbon, buses are excellent means of transport, especially when the area where you want to go is not served by the metro.

Lisbon subway has 4 lines and is one of the most modern, reliable and fast in Europe. Trains and train stations are safe, clean, neat and air conditioned. The Prices of Lisbon Metro:

  • To access the metro, you must first buy a magnetic card (Viva Viagem) worth € 0.50 from a teller or a terminal of the metro (display in English, Spanish and Portuguese).

    •  One way with access to metro, trams and buses : € 1,45

    • 24-hour Metro and Bus pass : € 6.15 (the pass also allows you to use other means of transport in Lisbon such as trams and buses)

 

Lisbon metro timetable:

Lisbon Metro is open from 6.30am to 1am. The frequency of subway trains is on average one passage every 6 to 9 minutes.
